FlyingBasket manufactures the FB3, an all-electric octocopter heavy-lift cargo drone with 100 kg payload capacity capable of BVLOS autonomous cargo transport. In 2024 it became the first Italian company to receive a Light UAS Operator Certificate (LUC) from ENAC, enabling certified BVLOS autonomous cargo operations. The autonomy stack handles long-distance mission routing, sling-load release and retrieval, and multi-leg cargo operations without landing. The FB3 targets infrastructure sectors where helicopters are the incumbent solution: energy, telecoms, alpine logistics, and maritime supply.
