GIM Robotics
Aalto University spin-off providing a full-stack autonomy software layer that turns mobile work machines into autonomous robots: multimodal localization and situational awareness that works in all weather and in GNSS-challenged or fully GNSS-denied environments (Aurora/Flexion full-stack precedent). Solutions have been applied in mining, construction, agriculture, forestry and marine machinery; the company names Liebherr, Hiab, CNHI, ABB and Skoda among customers. It was the only Finnish company in NATO DIANA's first cohort (announced 30 November 2023) and is a partner in Project BadB, selected in May 2024 for a EUR 6M European Defence Fund investment with the Estonian and Finnish MoDs; defense work is dual-use alongside a primarily civilian machinery business.
