Lobster Robotics
TU Delft spin-out (founders met designing a lunar-rover camera) that designs, manufactures and rents autonomous underwater vehicles for large-scale, high-resolution optical seabed mapping. Its Lobster Scout AUV is light enough for two people to deploy from a small boat and surveys in strong currents and visibility as low as one metre, serving offshore wind site assessment, environmental compliance and subsea infrastructure inspection. A NATO DIANA cohort-1 company selected for the Phase II accelerator in 2024, it announced in June 2025 a partnership with the Royal Netherlands Navy to develop a military-grade Scout2 under NATO's Rapid Adoption Action Plan.
