Upteko
Upteko builds the LARK (Laerke) ship-based multipurpose drone system for the maritime sector: a marinized drone, an autonomous deck charging/docking station and AI-powered mission software operated from a crew tablet. The drone performs fully automatic inspection of a ship in under two hours, autonomously docks itself for charging and storage, and supports docking assistance, oil-spill detection, fire-hazard inspection, search-and-rescue and wind-turbine inspection tasks. The airframe is built for maritime conditions (winds to 20 m/s, -10 to +45 C) with swappable payloads; a Sony ILX-LR1 payload achieved a 51-minute flight time. Shipping group Ultranav invested in 2022 to co-develop port and vessel drone operations.
